A mysterious space like an underground palace where the stratum that used to be the bottom of the sea has been eroded away.

Sightseeing Spots No. 30, Aragusuku Island (Panari Island)

It consists of two remote islands, Kamiji Island and Shimoji Island, and is also called Panari Island.

Since this is a sacred island with many "Utaki," places where the island gods reign, most of the tour area is around the harbor of Kamiji Island.

Panari Island is the only inhabited island in the Yaeyama Islands that does not have a regular shipping route, so if you wish to go there on your own, you must join a tour.

The village has a more original Okinawan landscape than Taketomi Island.
