Sea turtle snorkeling

Experience Diving

Experience diving is a diving tour for beginners, which can be enjoyed without a license.

Shihsi Lagoon

This area, known as Ishinishi lagoon, is home to most of the coral reefs in Japan.Colorful corals, large corals many meters long, and endless coral colonies are just a few of the coral attractions!

More than 360 species of corals are distributed in the Shihsi lagoon. You can also see tropical fish and cute little Nemo, who is so close you can almost touch him if you reach out your hand.

Most of the participants will be first-time divers or those who have had a few experiences. Before diving and snorkeling, we will always give a detailed explanation of the equipment to be used, guide them to the points of interest, and give them a thorough explanation of the precautions to take.

8:30/12:30	Gathering ~ Departure ➡︎ If you wish to be picked up, our staff will pick you up at your accommodation (free of charge in the city center) ((You will be sharing the ride with other passengers, so it may take longer to pick you up and drop you off.) (Free P parking available) On arrival at the port, you will change into a wetsuit and depart. Please come with your swimsuit on under your clothes by the meeting time.
	Wetsuit sizing ➡︎We will check your physical condition, fill out the application form, and explain about the boat and the day's flow. We will also introduce you to the staff who will be with you on the day, and finally we will set sail from Hamasaki Marina!
9:30/13:30	Movement & arrival at the point ➡︎The point will change depending on the sea conditions of the day.Travel time is about 10 to 30 minutes. We will take you to the calmest point, so don't worry.
	Experience Diving After arriving at the ➡︎ point, we will receive a lecture and try diving for the first time!
10:15/14:15	Point transfer & snorkeling ➡︎ tropical fish as well as sea turtles and other large fish can be seen with high probability.
11:30/15:30	Return to port - Dismissal Return to ➡︎ harbor. The boat is equipped with a shower so you can easily let the tide drop. After arriving at the port, we will take you back to your hotel. (If you are coming by rental car, we will disperse you at the port)

Hotel pick-up service is available only in the southern urban area of Ishigaki Island.

Yes, we do. Pick-up and drop-off vehicles are available for wet passengers.

It depends on the tour you are joining and where you are staying. The day before the tour, the store will inform you of the meeting time and place by phone or short message to your cell phone.

If you do not hear from the store after 7:00 p.m., please contact us. Please note that we will not be able to give you a confirmed meeting place and time until the day before the tour.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is it possible to participate in a day trip from remote islands (Kohama Island, Iriomote Island, Taketomi Island, Kuroshima, Hatoma Island, Hateruma Island)?

It is possible. However, please let us know at the time of reservation if you are coming from the area concerned.
Also, please be sure to inform us of the time you will be crossing to the islands after the end of the tour.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there a place to change clothes?

If you wish to change all of your clothes, you may do so in the ship's washroom.
Those who are being picked up and dropped off can leave their bathing suits on, but those who come by rental car are asked to use the restrooms on the ship, as it is better to keep the car as dry as possible.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there a place to leave my luggage?

There are no lockers, but there are boxes on the ship to store your luggage. However, the size of the boxes is limited, so please bring only the bare necessities such as towels, sunscreen, anti-sickness medicine, and valuables.

Carry-on bags and other items can be left in the car.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Are there showers on site?

There is a simple shower provided on the ship. In winter, hot water is available.
However, the amount is limited, so it will only be a light drop of seawater.

If you have checked out of your hotel or are flying in and want to clean off the seawater, our staff will guide you to a hotel where you can use the showers, so please feel free to ask.

Q. What is the difference between the two?I have poor eyesight, can I still do it?

Masks with glasses are also available.
However, contact lenses are recommended if you have contact lenses, as they may not match your eyesight. There have been no cases of contact lenses being lost while underwater! We have not had any cases of contact lenses being lost underwater, but disposable contact lenses are recommended.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there a place to withdraw money near the hotel or port?

Post office, Bank of the Ryukyus, Bank of Okinawa, Kaihou Bank, JA Bank, and AEON Bank ATMs are available.
Cash cards from city and regional banks can also be used.

I joined snorkeling and diving with a friend. I had not snorkeled in over 10 years, so I was worried about whether I could swim properly, but the guide pulled me along and we had a great time. First time diving and snorkeling in my life! I came to Ishigaki Island to do my first diving and snorkeling! I am really glad that my first diving and snorkeling experience was in Ishigaki Island. We experienced it with two couples! One of them had diving experience and was used to it, but the other three members were new or uncomfortable with it. The first time diving was a wonderful experience, and we are still lingering in the aftermath, glad that we were able to dive!
