We will take you to the most famous mountain stream in Ishigaki Island!
Shower Climbing in Arakawa RiverArakawa Falls is the only waterfall on the island that flows into Omotodake, the highest mountain in Okinawa Prefecture. The falls flow upstream and downstream, and together they are called Arakawa Falls.
It is very popular because climbing is available year-round and you can play in two waterfall pools, one upstream and one downstream!
Arakawa Falls
Arakawa Falls, a waterfall in Ishigaki Island, is divided into an upstream and downstream section, and the clear and transparent stream is very pleasant. Especially in summer, the sensation of cooling down your body is great.
While the upstream waterfall has a drop of about 10 meters, the downstream is about 3 to 4 meters, so it is not so vigorous, so you can safely play in the waterfall basin!
Experienced guides will guide you
Walk up along the water coming from upstream. Visitors can play in the waterfall basin, grab a Tarzan rope, and jump in for an exhilarating experience.

Free pick-up area is in the southern part of Ishigaki Island (west to Fusaki Resort, east to ANA Intercontinental Resort). (Please consult with us if you are staying at a hotel outside of this area.)

Two of us applied for the tour the day before and went. I think it is a valuable tour to enjoy the jungle of Ishigaki Island. We walked through the jungle while listening to birds, crossed a mountain stream, and swam in a waterfall. It was beautiful, pleasing to the eyes, refreshing to the body, and I forgot about the time. Unlike the ocean, my body did not feel sticky afterwards. You can borrow non-slip shoes. The photos taken by the guide were shiny and shining and were a great souvenir.

530代Posted Mon: 2018/03Shower climbing was the only tour held by Ishigakijima Tours in Ishigaki Island, and although it was October, it was still hot, so we played with water while climbing! We were the only tourists, so it was a great spot. The water upstream was really clean and it was great to bathe in the water! The shower climbing was not too hard and I really recommend it during the hot season!
