Phantom Island Landing & Experience Diving Tour

This is a full plan that includes landing at the popular sightseeing spot "Phantom Island" and experience diving at "Ishinishi Jagako", and although it takes 3 hours, it is packed with the charms of Ishigaki Island!

Since the tour ends in the morning, you will have time in the afternoon for sightseeing in Ishigaki Island and visiting the Yaeyama Islands such as Iriomote Island and Kohama Island.

Experience diving in one of the largest coral reefs in Japan, Ishinishi Jagako. Lake Ishisei Jagako is not only home to beautiful coral reefs, but also to Nemo and many colorful tropical fish.

8:30	Pick up at your accommodation (free of charge in the city center) ➡︎ If you are coming by rental car, please meet us at the Vessel Hotel and we will accompany you to Hamasaki Marina in the back of a car driven by our staff. (Free P parking available) *Please come with your swimsuit on under your clothes by the meeting time.
9:00	departure After boarding ➡︎, we will fit you for a wetsuit, check your physical condition, fill out an application form, explain the boat and the day's flow. We will also introduce you to the guide who will be with you on the day, and finally we will set sail from Hamasaki Marina!
9:30	Arrival at Phantom Island (free time) ➡︎The color of the sea gradually changes to a brilliant emerald green as you approach Phantom Island. Enjoy the phantom island, including taking pictures!
10:15	Experience Diving Start After arriving at the ➡︎ point, it is time for the diving experience! You will be given a detailed lecture during the trip. We will take you to the dive site with the best conditions of the day.


11:00	End of experience diving Return to ➡︎ port. Enjoy cruising.
11:30	Return to port - Dismissal ➡︎We have a shower on board so we can easily drop the tide.After returning to the port, the pick-up service will take you back to your hotel. (in Japanese history)(Those coming by rental car will be dismissed at the site.)

Q. What is the difference between the two?How far can I be picked up and dropped off?

Hotel pick-up service is available only in the southern urban area of Ishigaki Island.
From other areas, please use a rental car, local bus, or cab.
The meeting place for those who are not being picked up will be in front of the Vessel Hotel.

Note: Vessel Hotel Ishigakijima has nothing to do with this store.
Please do not park or contact the hotel.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Can the pick-up and drop-off vehicles be wet?

Yes, we do. Pick-up and drop-off vehicles are available for wet passengers.

Q. What is the difference between the two?What is the meeting place and time?

It depends on the tour you are joining and where you are staying. The day before the tour, the store will inform you of the meeting time and place by phone or short message to your cell phone.

If you do not hear from the store after 7:00 p.m., please contact us. Please note that we will not be able to give you a confirmed meeting place and time until the day before the tour.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is it possible to participate in a day trip from remote islands (Kohama Island, Iriomote Island, Taketomi Island, Kuroshima, Hatoma Island, Hateruma Island)?

It is possible. However, please let us know at the time of reservation if you are coming from the area concerned.
Also, please be sure to inform us of the time you will be crossing to the islands after the end of the tour.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there a place to change clothes?

If you wish to change all of your clothes, you may do so in the ship's washroom.
Those who are being picked up and dropped off can leave their bathing suits on, but those who come by rental car are asked to use the restrooms on the ship, as it is better to keep the car as dry as possible.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there a place to leave my luggage?

There are no lockers, but there are boxes on the ship to store your luggage. However, the size of the boxes is limited, so please bring only the bare necessities such as towels, sunscreen, anti-sickness medicine, and valuables.

Carry-on bags and other items can be left in the car.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Are there showers on site?

There is a simple shower provided on the ship. In winter, hot water is available.
However, the amount is limited, so it will only be a light drop of seawater.

If you have checked out of your hotel or are flying in and want to clean off the seawater, our staff will guide you to a hotel where you can use the showers, so please feel free to ask.

Q. What is the difference between the two?I have poor eyesight, can I still do it?

Masks with glasses are also available.
However, contact lenses are recommended if you have contact lenses, as they may not match your eyesight. There have been no cases of contact lenses being lost while underwater! We have not had any cases of contact lenses being lost underwater, but disposable contact lenses are recommended.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there a place to withdraw money near the hotel or port?

Post office, Bank of the Ryukyus, Bank of Okinawa, Kaihou Bank, JA Bank, and AEON Bank ATMs are available.
Cash cards from city and regional banks can also be used.
In addition, there is an ATM at a convenience store (AEON Bank in Cocostore).

Even though I am not a good swimmer, I could enjoy it without any problem^^The guide carefully supported us and we were able to enjoy the beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish of Shihsi lagoon. The view of the Phantom Island was also fantastic, and I have wonderful memories of this tour.

It was a luxury to be able to enjoy the fantastic island and Shihsi lagoon in 3 hours in the morning. It was my first time to dive, but thanks to the guide, I was able to enjoy it without worries. I was able to use the afternoon free for sightseeing, so I was able to make the most of my day.

The coral reefs of the West Reef Lake are breathtaking and we saw Nemo and many colorful fish. Since the tour was in the morning, it was great to be able to enjoy other sights in the afternoon.
