By purchasing tickets in advance, we were able to board the boat smoothly and without panic. However, when I showed the QR to the ship's crew, I was tongue-tied on both the way there and the way back. I know it is a hassle to collect the tickets and QR is a hassle because of the terminal operation, but it was a bad feeling at the beginning of the trip.
When we boarded the ship, they collected our suitcases and put them in a storage area. The seats are unreserved and they told us that the back of the boat is less bumpy. There is one restroom, but due to the currents, the boat to Uehara Port may be bumpy even in clear skies, so if you are worried about getting seasick, you should use anti-sickness medicine.

I tried Sabiki fishing with my child. The staff kindly taught us how to put on bait, and my child was very happy to catch fish by himself. The gurukun we caught were delicious at an izakaya (Japanese style bar) at night.
We were picked up at the remote island terminal and were able to rent a car smoothly. The car was equipped with a car navigation system as standard equipment, so I was able to drive around Ishigaki Island for the first time without getting lost. I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the vehicle.
