I participated in the Miyara River Mangrove SUP. It was my first time and I was very anxious, but the instructor gave me a detailed lecture and I was able to complete the course without falling off. I was able to complete the tour without falling down. We were accompanied by two other foreigners, and the instructor explained in English and Japanese alternately, so it was a bit like an English conversation class, which was fun. I recommend December, depending on the weather, as the mangroves are almost completely reserved.
Thanks to the friendly staff, I was able to make animal candles easily even for the first time. I would like to use this service again because it is fun regardless of the weather. The whole family had a wonderful time.

My family and I joined this tour during a typhoon. There is really nothing to do in Ishigaki Island during a typhoon, so it is nice to have something to enjoy like this.
My family participated in the event and everyone was fascinated with making the candles. The children especially seemed to enjoy being able to choose their favorite animal and make their own candles, and they were smiling the whole time. It was also great that they could take home the finished candles that day. We have been enjoying decorating them since we got back home.
