What to wear and what you need for canoeing (kayaking) in Ishigaki Island
Basically, we recommend that you wear lightweight long or short sleeved clothing such as a rash guard for the top, and sea pants or half pants for the bottom, as your feet will get slightly wet. Sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended. We recommend that you bring a hand towel because you will be sweating.

Kabira Taba-ga is a beach not far from Kabira Bay, but it is a little-known spot that not many people visit. Inoda Campground Beach is located in the northern part of Ishigaki Island, right in front of the campground on Route 390 northward from the New Ishigaki Airport. You can enjoy swimming and fishing at this beach. Along the beach, there is a mokumao forest where you can enjoy activities while taking a break.
There is canoeing on the beach in front of Inoda Campground that you can't do in other fields. Canoe fishing. Enjoy canoe fishing by paddling a canoe and finding a spot where it is easy to fish. Ishigaki Island Kayaking Spot (3) Todoroki River Mangrove
The Todoroki River mangroves grow in clusters on both banks of the river that flows north of the Shiraho Coast. The Yaeyamahirugi and Ohirugi that make up the mangroves are powerful, being nearly 4 meters high. In Ishigaki Island, Miyara River and Fukidori River are well known, so Todoroki River Mangrove is not so well known.
There are few other tourists, so you can enjoy canoe cruising with plenty of time to spare. Take your time and observe the creatures of the mangroves and mud flats!
