A panoramic view of Ishigaki Island
Trekking tour to Troll's TongueYarabudake (屋良部岳) is a mountain located in the western part of Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture. The 216.5-meter-high summit has a huge rock that looks like the tongue of a monster called "Troll's Tongue" and offers a spectacular view over the blue ocean.
Yarabudake (Mt. Yarabu)
Yarabudake is a 217-meter-high mountain located in the middle of the Sakieda area where the lighthouse of Mikamisaki, the westernmost point of Ishigaki Island, is located.

The mountain is a bit steep, but a 15-minute walk will take you to the top. Near the summit, light shines through the jungle-covered forest and visibility is excellent.
A huge rock called Troll's Tongue protrudes just after the summit. Troll Rock is so called because of its huge appearance like the tongue of the troll monster.

Free pick-up area is in the southern part of Ishigaki Island (west to Fusaki Resort, east to ANA Intercontinental Resort). (Please consult with us if you are staying at a hotel outside of this area.)
