What Is the Tower of Nagomi?

The Nagomi Tower, located within Akayama Park, was designated as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property on March 27, 2006.

Although the observation deck at the summit is quite narrow, it offers a panoramic view of Taketomi Island’s unspoiled landscape.

It is currently closed due to deterioration.

How to Play at Nagomi Tower

Although visitors cannot climb the Nagomi Tower at this time, it still stands as a symbol of Taketomi Island.

Since you can see the Nagomi Tower even from a distance, I recommend taking photos up close as well.
