Directions to Kabira Park
Kabira Park is located approximately 35 minutes by car from Shin-Ishigaki Airport and 30 minutes by car from the Remote Island Terminal, and can be accessed by car and bus.
◆If you are accessing by car from Shin-Ishigaki Airport
(1) Take Route 390 north.
Turn left at the T-junction where Route 209 merges and turn right at the intersection where Route 87 merges.
(3) Follow the road past the Omoto Tunnel and turn left at the intersection where it merges with Route 79.
(4) Follow Route 79 westward for a while until you come to a T-junction where it merges with Route 207.
(5) Turn right at the T-junction there, and after a while, with the ocean on your right, you will see Kabira Park on your right.
◆If you are accessing by car from the terminal
(1) Exit the Terminal, take the road on your left, and turn left on City Hall Street.
(2) Turn right at the intersection where it merges with the Momorinji West Street Line, continue and turn left at the intersection where it merges with Route 208.
(3) Go north on Route 208 for a while, then turn onto Route 79 and follow the road.
(4) When you see Ishigaki Shoten on your left, turn right at the next Y-junction and continue on Route 79.
(5) After driving for a while via Route 207 with the ocean on your right, you will see Kabira Park on your right.
◆If you are accessing by bus from Shin-Ishigaki Airport
From Shin-Ishigaki Airport, take the bus bound for Yonehara Campground and arrive at Kabira Bay in about 40 minutes.
◆To access by bus from the island terminal
(1) At Ishigaki Port (Rito Terminal), take the Kabira Resort Line (Route 9) or the Yonehara Camp Line (Route 11).
(2) The Kabira Resort Line is a more reasonable and quicker way to get to Kabira Park.

You can spend your time around Kabira Park, where there are various facilities such as glass boats, observatory, restaurants, ice cream shops, and souvenir shops.

Kabira Park isOne of the 100 most scenic spots in JapanIt is also a national park designated as a historic site and a natural monument.
The waters of Kabira Bay are exceptionally clear and the water quality is excellent. And, to our surprise, black pearls are cultured in these waters!
Colorful corals and tropical fishes inhabit the sea, and it is said that the color of the sea surface changes to seven different colors. Depending on the time of day, Kabira Bay takes on a different appearance, which is also part of the fun!
In particular, the observatory in Kabira Park offers a panoramic view of the entire Kabira Bay.
There is also a pavilion made of red tiles, typical of Yaeyama, perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the scenery!
The abundance of living creatures seems to make it suitable for snorkeling and diving, but the fast currents make it unsuitable for these activities.
However, glass boats, which have a transparent glass bottom, allow visitors to enjoy observing living creatures while cruising.
There are no age restrictions, so small children and the elderly who are unable to participate in tours can join with ease.

Kabira Tabaggar
To get to Kabira Tabagar from Kabira Park, head south on Route 207 and turn right at the intersection with the Kabira Post Office.
Follow the road for a while and turn right at the three-way intersection. Continue following the road and you will arrive at
Kabira Tabagah is a serene and atmospheric spot, and its beauty is said to rival Nishi Beach on Hateruma Island, one of the most beautiful beaches in Yaeyama.
Although it is such a beautiful place, Kabira Tabaggar is actually not well known by tourists and is rarely crowded. It is not yetOff-the-beaten-track spotIt is!

Sukuji Beach
Sukuji Beach is to head from Kabira Park,
(1) Exit Kabira Park, go north on Route 207, and turn left at the intersection with Yae Police Station Kabira Residential Office and Nakama Shoten.
Turn right when you see the Ishigaki City Fire Station Kabira Sub-branch on your left.
(3) Turn and immediately turn left at the Y-junction.
(4) At the end of the road, turn left at the T-junction and continue straight to Sukuji Beach.
Sukuji Beach is located on the west coast of Ishigaki Island and features a long white sand beach that stretches in a large arc for 1 km.
The white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and greenery of the mokumao trees make this one of the most scenic spots on the island, and it has even been awarded two stars by the Michelin Green Guide Japon!
It is also the earliest beach in Japan to open to the public, and is fully equipped with toilets, showers, changing rooms, and a large parking lot.
Of course, there is a lifeguard on duty and nets for habu jellyfish, so it is recommended for those who want to enjoy safe swimming!
