About the Nishizaki Lighthouse
Kubura Fishing PortLocated near [...], this lighthouse marks the westernmost point of Japan. In the surrounding area,Monument Marking Japan's Westernmost PointThere’s also this. Since it’s not a tourist lighthouse, the general public can’t climb it, but you can still enjoy the breathtaking views of the water’s surface stretching out from nearby. Plus, if conditions are right, you might even be able to see all the way to Taiwan in the distance! It’s also a popular spot because you can watch the last sunset of the day in Japan here♪ Since there’s an elevation difference of about 40 meters from the airport, we recommend getting there by rental car or motorcycle.
