Sugarcane usually takes from one to one and a half years to harvest, depending on the growing method, variety, and weather.
Busy farmers will be there to experience the harvest, so show them your appreciation and ask them questions about sugarcane.

Sugarcane is a specialty of Okinawa Prefecture. You may have heard of it, but have you ever actually nibbled on it?
What does sugarcane taste like and how sweet is it? Children can participate in this experience together, and it is recommended as a food education experience.
