However, it is surprisingly difficult to decide what kind of course you should take and what kind of attractive spots you should visit. In this article, we will introduce 2 model courses for 3 days and 2 nights in Ishigaki Island.

Arrival at Shin-Ishigaki Airport
Take a flight departing from Haneda Airport at 11:25 to Ishigaki Island, arriving at Ishigaki Island at 14 :20. We will rent a car and head to the city center where we have reserved a hotel.

After checking in at the hotel, we will get ready and head to Sukuji Beach.

Swimming at Sukuji Beach
Sukuji Beach is a long white sand beach of about 1 km in a large arc, located about 30 minutes by car from the city center. The contrast between the white sand beach and the clear emerald green sea is very beautiful, and it has been awarded two stars by the Michelin Green Guide Japon. The beach was the first beach in Japan to be opened to the public. A forest of mokumao trees acts as a windbreak along the beach, and the calm sea is perfect for swimming and other activities. The beach is beautiful and unspoiled, and is fully equipped with restrooms, showers, changing rooms, and a large parking lot, allowing visitors to enjoy their time here. After a beautiful sunset, dinner is served in the city center.

Hitoshi Honten is so popular that the restaurant is full as soon as it opens, and it is the go-to restaurant for local customers. Tuna is especially popular, and you can enjoy tuna with a texture that melts in your mouth. In addition to sashimi, the restaurant mainly handles sushi and other seafood dishes. You can enjoy high quality tuna at reasonable prices.

After exploring the Euglena Mall, we will head out for dinner.

Swimming and snorkeling at Shiraho Beach
Shiraho Beach has a much larger variety and quantity of coral and tropical fish than other beaches, and is home to the largest blue coral colony in the northern hemisphere. This blue coral colony is so precious that many people from Japan and abroad visit the beach for snorkeling and diving.
We will enjoy activities while admiring the beautiful white sand beaches and clear ocean views. After having fun, we will have lunch at Shiraho Shokudo (restaurant) near Shiraho Beach.

Shiraho Shokudo is a common eatery located within walking distance from Shiraho Beach, and is popular among islanders for its generous portions. In addition to Yaeyama's specialty Yaeyama soba (buckwheat noodles) and vegetable chanpuru, the restaurant also offers a variety of dishes such as the standard fried white fish set meal.

Swimming at Fusaki Beach
Fusaki Beach is easily accessible from the city center and is one of the most popular natural beaches on the island, facing Nagura Bay, the largest bay in Ishigaki Island.
The resort hotel Fusaki Resort Village manages this beach and provides rental equipment for activities. Although it is a popular beach that attracts many tourists every year, the environment remains so pristine that sea turtles visit the beach every year to lay eggs.
It is also famous as a sunset spot, and the sunset over the pier that juts out into the sea is spectacular.

Sushi prepared with island fish is excellent. In addition to sushi, you can also taste deep-fried Jjimami tofu, deep-fried gurukun, and other creative dishes.
After tasting the island fish, we will head to the remote island terminal where the night tour will meet.

After a lecture on snorkeling, we will move to the snorkeling point and start the activity.
The largest coral area in Japan, Shihsi lagoon, is located around the island, allowing visitors to closely observe colorful corals and tropical fish. If you are lucky, you may even encounter sea turtles.

Start of Taketomi Island Sightseeing
You will stroll around Taketomi Island, one of the few islands that still retain the original Okinawan landscape of red-tiled roofs, stone walls, and hibiscus flowers. Since it is a small island, you can freely explore the island by using a buffalo cart or renting a bicycle. After transferring to Banna Park, we will hike around in the jungle. We will explore the authentic jungle while relaxing in the forest!

Yonehara Beach is a natural beach suitable for snorkeling with one of the best coral and tropical fish species and quantity in Ishigaki Island. It is recommended to enjoy activities at high tide because the reef dries up at low tide and it is dangerous. Nearby are a colony of Yaeyama palms and the Yonehara Campground, so it is a good place to enjoy a BBQ after enjoying activities.
