Yonehara Campground Facilities
Here are the details of Yonehara Campground's facilities. Yonehara Campground is located from Ishigakijima Airport to Route 390, turn left at the intersection to Route 390, then to Prefectural Road 290, then to Prefectural Road 87, then to Prefectural Road 79, and it takes about 25 minutes. From the city center, take Route 390 toward the airport, turn left at the Isobe intersection, take Prefectural Route 209, turn left at the Sanwa intersection, pass through the Omoto Tunnel, and turn left on Prefectural Route 79, which is an easy 30-minute drive.
Of course, there is a parking lot with space for about 30 cars. Facilities include an administration building, a public cooking area, a store, toilets, and hot and cold showers (200 yen per 10 minutes). At the store, you can rent snorkeling equipment and parasols for use on the beach. The campground is also barrier-free, with guide dogs and wheelchair-accessible restrooms available. What is Inoda Auto Camp Ground?
This auto campground is located at the southernmost tip of Japan. Public buses are available to the campground, but are infrequent, so officials recommend that visitors come by rental car or rental motorcycle. Inoda Auto Campground is located about 20 minutes by car from Shin-Ishigaki Airport on Route 390 north toward Tamatorizaki. It takes about 30 minutes by car from the city center to the north on Route 390 toward Tamatorizaki. The campground is well maintained and fully equipped with toilets, shower rooms, cooking facilities, and laundry facilities.
Camping equipment is available for rent, including tents, tables and chairs, and even cooler boxes, so you can easily use the facility without bringing anything other than groceries.
