New experiences of Ishigaki Island weaving experience, weaving class experience and tours
I tried the mincer weaving experience on the last day after enjoying snorkeling and other activities in Ishigaki Island. I chose my favorite color, and the staff first showed me a model of how to weave and taught me very carefully. Even so, my hands and feet did not move as they were taught, but they corrected and taught me again at times, so even though I was desperate, the weaving gradually progressed and I was able to create a very beautiful mincer weave! The mincer weaving was finished! I was very satisfied with my work. I was very satisfied with my work. After the hard work of weaving, I enjoyed looking at the exhibits and souvenirs even more. I highly recommend this place after a satisfying day of ocean activities.
I had always wanted to try mincer weaving! I knew a typhoon was coming, but I wanted to do something, so I immediately made a reservation for mincer weaving, which can be enjoyed indoors... The staff first carefully taught me by example, and I was able to weave easily and rhythmically. You can pick it up the next day or later or mail it. They neatly arranged and wrapped it for me and gave me a certificate of completion (lol). I think I'm going to get into mincer weaving normally! The small size might not have been enough for me, so I was right to choose the large size. o
I participated in this class with my wife. At first I thought it would be complicated, but the steps are relatively simple and the gentle lectures made it enjoyable even for someone like me who has no experience with knitting. The store will do the finishing work for you, so it will be beautiful. I love it at the entrance of my house. I hope you will experience a life where you are greeted by your own Minsa weaving when you come home.
It was almost my first weaving experience, but it was very interesting. The introduction was easy to understand and I had no particular difficulties. The threads used for minsa-ori, dyes, Ishigaki Island's unique patterns and their backgrounds, etc. are very interesting as a cultural experience. The time required is about 10 to 20 minutes for weaving a small table center. There is a small museum and store inside the facility, and it took about 1 hour to visit all of them. If you go around slowly and in detail, it might take about 1.5 hours. You can choose from 6 types of cloth, 3 red and 3 blue.
This is my third visit to Ishigaki Island. This time, I tried to do something I don't usually do and experienced mincer craft. It was fun and deep looking at the simple work! The weather wasn't great, so it was nice to be able to do it indoors!
It was a great experience, although I didn't get the force right and the edges were rattled. It was over so quickly, I would like to try a large size next time!
