430代Month of posting: 2026/05I tried my hand at traditional Minsa weaving, something I’d been interested in for a while. At first, I found handling the thread a little difficult, but the instructor was right there beside me, patiently guiding me, so I was able to complete the piece. If I had to nitpick, it would have been perfect if I’d had a little more time to work at a slower pace.

550代Month of posting: 2026/02Coming into contact with traditional textiles was truly refreshing. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, rainy days seem to make time pass more slowly, and I found those quiet moments of work deeply soothing… Every time I look at the beautiful interior pieces I created, I’m sure I’ll be reminded of that peaceful time.

540代Month of posting: 2026/02We took part in this workshop to create memories from our family trip. At first, I was worried the kids might get bored, but the staff were very kind and taught them at their own pace, so they were able to stay focused until the very end. The finished table centerpiece was sturdier than I had imagined, and it made for a great souvenir. I’m sure every time I look at it after we get home, it will remind me of our trip.

540代Month of posting: 2025/10It offers excellent value for the experience. It’s not often you get the chance to use a traditional loom, so it was a truly valuable experience. The work may seem monotonous at first glance, but it’s actually quite complex and requires a lot of concentration. The table centerpiece I made was a perfect fit for my home decor. However, since you have to sit for long periods of time, it might be a bit tough for people with back problems.

430代Month of posting: 2025/07I tried my hand at traditional Yaeyama Minsa weaving. At first, it seemed a little difficult, but I’m glad that even someone as clumsy as me was able to pull it off. However, the table centerpiece turned out to be larger than I expected, so it took a little longer to finish. Still, it turned out to be a lovely souvenir with the warmth of a handmade item.

530代Month of posting: 2024/10I had always wanted to try mincer weaving! I knew a typhoon was coming, but I wanted to do something, so I immediately made a reservation for mincer weaving, which can be enjoyed indoors... The staff first carefully taught me by example, and I was able to weave easily and rhythmically. You can pick it up the next day or later or mail it. They neatly arranged and wrapped it for me and gave me a certificate of completion (lol). I think I'm going to get into mincer weaving normally! The small size might not have been enough for me, so I was right to choose the large size. o

At first I thought it would be complicated, but the steps are relatively simple and the gentle lectures made it enjoyable even for someone like me who has no experience with knitting. The store will do the finishing work for you, so it will be beautiful. I love it at the entrance of my house.
