What Is the Six-Tatami Beach?

A small beach in the northern part of Yonaguni Island, widely regarded as the island’s No. 1 scenic beach. As its name suggests, it’s a very small beach, so it practically disappears at high tide. True to its reputation as a hidden gem, it’s very hard to find. Haha. If you make your way through the tall grass, you’ll find it nestled at the base of a sheer cliff. It appeared as a “secret spot” in the TV drama *Dr. Koto’s Clinic* and was actually used as a filming location.
