Exit the terminal and walk straight along the road on your left.
Go straight through the intersection where City Hall Street intersects. It will be on your left after a short drive.

The Kuniyoshi family’s giant banyan tree is an impressive specimen growing near the city center. Estimated to be 200 to 300 years old, it stands 10 meters tall and has a circumference of 3 meters.

Designed by Shiroama Oyagami, a Ryukyuan landscape architect, this garden combines the serene atmosphere of a Japanese garden with the distinctive character of the Yaeyama Islands, featuring rocks made of Ryukyuan coral scattered throughout.
