What Is Dannu Beach?

This beach is located on the north side of Yonaguni Island, roughly halfway between Yonaguni Airport and the Kubura settlement. The water is exceptionally clear and the coral reef is beautiful, making it ideal for snorkeling; however, the rocks and coral are relatively rugged, so please be careful when swimming at low tide. Also, since there are strong currents outside the reef, please stay within the reef area. The water is crystal clear, and the sea is a beautiful color! If you want to take great photos, the morning is best for backlighting. The beach is right below the parking lot, making it easy to access, and there are facilities like showers and restrooms—though the showers aren’t exactly clean, and some are even out of order…
