What is Higashizaki?

Located at the eastern tip of Yonaguni Island, this cape features sheer cliffs rising about 100 meters above sea level. The surrounding area is home to Yonaguni horses, which graze freely. At the tip stands the Higashizaki Lighthouse, offering a panoramic view of the beautiful sea stretching out to the north of Yonaguni Island. There is a path from the parking lot to the lighthouse, but please be careful—you’ll find droppings from the free-roaming Yonaguni horses scattered here and there. (lol)
