As a windsurfing experience in northern Ishigaki Island, I think it offers good value for the money, considering both the location and the quality of instruction. The wind conditions at Ihara Bay were excellent and exceeded my expectations. However, since there was nowhere to shelter from the sun during the session, it would have been perfect if they had provided more detailed advance guidance on sun protection. Overall, it was a satisfying and fulfilling experience.

Windsurfing was seriously awesome lol. The thrill of riding the wind across the ocean was insane—it totally got me hyped! The ocean at Ihara was so beautiful—it was the best (lol). It was tough, but the instructor was great and I was up on my board in no time. If you go to Ishigaki Island, you absolutely have to try this!

We took part in this activity during our trip to Ishigaki Island. It was a windsurfing introductory course, and the instructor patiently taught us the basics from the very beginning, so even as a beginner, I was able to enjoy it safely. The water off Ihara is crystal clear, and the exhilarating feeling of cutting through the wind was so refreshing that it washed away all my daily fatigue. No matter where you take a photo, every spot on Ishigaki Island is breathtaking! I managed to capture some really stylish shots of myself windsurfing against the backdrop of the blue sea at Ihara! The photos the instructor took for me had great angles, and I came away with so many cute memories. The only thing is, the wind was pretty strong, so it would’ve been even better if I’d had a moment to fix my hair. It was an amazing, Instagram-worthy experience—I highly recommend it! ♪

I wasn’t very confident in my athletic ability, and I’d been worried for a long time about whether I’d be able to stand on a windsurfing board, but thanks to the staff who stayed by my side the whole time, my worries vanished immediately. First, we received a thorough lesson from an instructor on the beach, where we learned how to stand on the board and other basics. Next, we headed out to the ocean and slowly tried our hand at windsurfing while reading the wind (phew). It was hard to keep my balance at first, but the exhilaration of riding the wind was truly unparalleled. I was able to fully enjoy the beautiful waters off the northern coast of Ishigaki Island, and I truly felt it was a wonderful experience.

I was traveling alone as a man and signed up for this activity because I was looking for something where I could really let loose. The instructor was very friendly and chatted with me, so I was able to enjoy the ocean off Ishigaki Island without ever feeling lonely. The time I spent trying my hand at windsurfing—facing the wind and waves all by myself—was a luxurious experience that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the great outdoors. The beautiful scenery of Ihara also made for a wonderful keepsake.
