Wetsuits make it easy for first-time swimmers to swim with us, as our bodies float naturally!

All you need to prepare is a swimsuit and towel! Wetsuits and other equipment can be rented free of charge for easy participation.

Reference Schedule

(2)	change of clothes →You will receive a rental wetsuit and change in the changing room. Wear a wetsuit over your swimsuit. Wetsuits are available from 110cm for children to 190cm for adults.
(iii)	Tour starts☆. →At the beginning, in the lecture room, we will explain about dolphins with quizzes and illustrations, and tell you some requests to play with them. Please listen carefully so that you can enjoy playing!
4)	Dolphin Touching Experience →The dolphins are also fed and played with. There will be time for commemorative photos!
5)	Equipment Preparation →Put on fins, mask, snorkel, gloves, and life jacket. Finally, it is time to enter the water!
6)	Dolphin and Swim Experience →The dolphins will swim in a yukes. Basically, each person enters the water one by one and swims with the dolphins in turn. Staff will also enter the water with you and teach you how to swim.

Frequently asked questions about this plan

Q. Is it possible to swim only wearing a life jacket?

Wetsuits are mandatory. The purpose is to ensure buoyancy and to protect the skin. Unlike in the open sea, the purpose is to prevent shellfish and seaweed from damaging your skin as you swim in the yukes.

Q. Do I have to be able to swim to take the swim course?

Please refrain from using the ocean, swimming pools, or any other water that you have a fear of.
The swim course is basically a course where you can play with dolphins while floating on the surface of the water.

Wetsuits, fins, masks, snorkels, and gloves are required for all participants. Wetsuits provide buoyancy similar to wearing floatation rings, so there is no need to worry about sinking.

Also, since you wear fins, mask, and snorkel, swimming is easier than swimming in a pool.
Life jackets are also available for rent for children.

Q. Can I bring my own camera or video camera to take pictures?

You may bring your own camera or video equipment to the ykes for filming.
Please be careful of splashing when dolphins jump.

Q. If it rains, will the program be cancelled?

The event will be held rain or shine! (We never cancel because of rain.)
The content of the tour may be changed or cancelled if sea conditions deteriorate due to typhoons or other factors, or if it is deemed unsafe to hold the tour.

Q. Can I cross the Ikes with a wheelchair or stroller?

Due to the instability of the top of the Ikes, wheelchairs and strollers are not allowed to cross the Ikes.
If you wish to cross the street, you will need to be carried across without a wheelchair or stroller.

After the reception desk, we moved to the koike. We were driven for a while along a wild road to the koike, which may have been under construction, and arrived at the hut for the lecture. After changing into a wetsuit and receiving a lecture, we finally went to the pond. First of all, we had a chance to interact with the fish. After the experience, we moved to the adjacent kesu for the dolphin swimming experience. My wife and my 7-year-old son experienced it, while I played the role of a photographer (observation). Swimming with dolphins was one of my dreams. I am glad it came true here. I really enjoyed the lecture, the petting experience, and the swim with the dolphins. The participants swim in snorkel gear and stay afloat. The location is in the Ikes. Don't be misled into thinking that you can swim freely in the wide ocean (which would be impossible in real life). The price is not cheap for the activity, but I did not think it was expensive. The staff is very helpful and they give you a perfect score. Thank you very much. I think it is okay to participate with your children. I think you can make great memories. There is no pick up and drop off service. If you do not have a rental car, it would be better to take a cab to the meeting point.

I was able to realize my dream of dolphin swim! Since it was October, we were able to swim with the dolphins while there were few people around! We were able to swim with the dolphins for about a lap around the yukes. I recommend this tour because I think there are not many places where you can swim with dolphins so easily!
