(2)	change of clothes →Please dress appropriately in case you get wet. In winter, we offer free rental of torso lengths that can be worn over clothes.
(iii)	Tour starts☆. →At the beginning, in the lecture room, we will explain about dolphins with quizzes and illustrations, and tell you some requests to play with them. Please listen carefully so that you can enjoy playing!
4)	Dolphin Touching Experience →The dolphins are also fed and played with. There will be time for commemorative photos!
5)	Changing & Moving →Thank you for your hard work!

You may bring your own camera or video equipment to the ykes for filming.
Please be careful of splashing when dolphins jump.

Q. If it rains, will the event be cancelled?

The event will be held rain or shine! (We never cancel because of rain.)

It was my first time to see dolphins and I enjoyed it very much. At the nearby Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, you can feed and touch the dolphins, but you have to pay an admission fee for each animal, and you cannot take pictures freely. However, here, you can interact with the dolphins, so it's great! It was a unique experience to touch dolphins while getting wet in the relaxing Ishigaki Island.

I came to Ishigaki to participate in this tour during my last summer vacation as a student! I had been to Shinagawa Aquarium several times in Tokyo, but the cuteness of the dolphins up close is just unbelievable. After feeding the dolphins, I was so excited to hear them say thank you (?). I was so scared that I decided not to go for the dolphin swim, but I would have liked to have taken the other course, but I would like to come back again!

There is a large parking lot just beyond the Southern Gate Bridge from the city center, with the reception desk in the back. Leave your car and take the bus to the YIKES. When you arrive, you will be given a 15-minute briefing. After that, we put on a wetsuit-like suit and were knee-deep in saltwater for the touch tour. The dolphins came very close to us and we could shake hands with them, jump on them, and feed them. After the tour, the children were very happy and very interested in the dolphins, so I recommend it. We rented a car, but a cab was sufficient. They also called a cab for us so we could get back home quickly.

My 3 year old daughter and her family of 4 joined the petting course. At first I thought she would be scared, but she really enjoyed it. The price is reasonable and there are not many things for a 3 year old to do in Ishigaki Island, so I recommend the dolphin petting tour for families with young children.

I think everyone from children to adults would enjoy this tour. We had a lot of fun interacting with the dolphins, giving them cues, and feeding them. Children were very interested in the dolphins that showed a different side of dolphins from what they see in aquariums, etc. I heard that swimmers can swim from the age of 4, so I will let them try it next time I come to Ishigaki Island!

We made a mistake in the meeting place and went straight ahead even though it was just past the Southern Gate Bridge (lol), but the staff greeted us very kindly. There was a proper lecture before interacting with the dolphins and plenty of time to interact with them, so I highly recommend this tour for families.

We took the petting course. It was just the right amount of time for a family with children, and there was plenty to do during the less than one-hour tour, including giving instructions to the dolphins such as touch and hand signs, shaking hands, and jumping. I would like to take my children for a swim when they are older.
