The transfer to Kuroshima was smooth. However, the waves were so high that day that I got a little seasick, which would have been perfect if I had taken some medicine.

I definitely recommend buying tickets in advance! I was able to get on the boat without standing in line, so I had a lot of time to spend on Kuroshima.
