As the name suggests, it is a marine sport that is rapidly gaining popularity around the world, where people stand on surfboards and use paddles to paddle on the ocean or rivers.

Visit the mysterious "Blue Cave
There is a place called "Blue Cave" not only in Italy and the main island of Okinawa, but also on Ishigaki Island. It is a popular snorkeling spot with a trench around it where many fish gather.
Depending on the tide level and sunlight, if the timing is right, the surface of the water becomes like a mirror and the surrounding scenery is reflected on the surface of the sea, creating a scene similar to that of Salar de Uyuni!
The interior of the caves can be explored by landing and observing the natural products of Ishigaki, including limestone caves.
There is a clear and beautiful world in the sea. Let's swim with many fishes! If you are lucky, you may even see sea turtles!

In the afternoon, we went snorkeling at the Blue Cave. I gave it 4 stars because there were so many tourists that it was hard to swim at my own pace and there were not many fish because of the number of people coming. In other countries, you can see a lot of fish because they feed them, but I guess they don't dare to do that here. The equipment was new and I felt safe putting it in my mouth. Even though it was my first time snorkeling and I am not a good swimmer, they lent me a wetsuit and fins, and called me frequently during the snorkeling to make sure I had a safe and enjoyable time. The staff was also very kind, telling us about the different types of fish and the best spots along the way, and we even got to see a wild peacock.
