How to get to Ishigakijima Cave
Ishigaki Limestone Cave is about an 8-minute drive from downtown,New Ishigaki AirportIt is located about a 30-minute drive from there.
① Exit the Remote Islands Terminal, turn left onto the road ahead, and turn left onto City Hall Street
② Turn right at the intersection where the Torinji Nishi-dori Road joins, then turn left at the intersection where Route 208 intersects.
③ Drive north on Route 208 for a while, and when you see the Nichiren Shoshu Shogyo-ji Temple on your right ahead, turn left just before it.
④ Turn right at the first Y-intersection and continue straight ahead; you'll see Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave on your left.
Access by ◆Bus
Take the Higashi Bus Route 7 (Yoshihara Line), which runs near Ishigaki Port, and get off at the ”Shizenmura Iriguchi” bus stop.
After getting off the bus, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave.
