Landing on "Phantom Island" and snorkeling tourThis plan allows you to enjoy the beach "Phantom Island (official name: Hamajima)" which changes its appearance depending on the day you visit, and snorkeling in the waters around Ishigaki Island.
We will go to snorkel points where you can experience the beautiful sea of Yaeyama, so beginners and repeaters of ocean fun will be satisfied!
Phantom Island (Hamashima)
It is an island made of pure white sand floating between Kohama Island and Taketomi Island, and is called "Phantom Island (official name: Hamajima)" because it appears only at low tide.
It is an excellent location often used for filming for magazines and TV programs, and is a must-visit spot when you come to Ishigaki Island!

The fee is the same, but you can also choose to just land on the island and watch your children play on the boat instead of snorkeling.

Luggage can be left in the guide's car (or on the boat). Please take care of your valuables by yourself. (*In some cases, you may be asked to leave your luggage at the hotel reception or in a locker at the terminal.)

550代Posted in September 2026First, we boarded a boat and headed for a mythical island surrounded by blue ocean as far as the eye could see. Next, we stepped onto the pristine white sandy beach, where we took our time enjoying the scenery and snapping photos (sweat). After that, we tried our hand at snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters and had a wonderful experience surrounded by countless tropical fish. Since we set out at a leisurely pace in the afternoon, I didn’t feel tired at all, and it was a very fulfilling tour.

530代Posted in August 2026On August 26, our family of five—including our 5-year-old daughter—took this tour. With a typhoon approaching, we weren’t even sure if we’d be able to fly to Ishigaki Island in the first place. Other tour companies had contacted us early on to cancel, saying, “You should probably just give up on this trip,” which really made us feel down. However, this tour operator waited until the very last minute to assess the situation. As a result, our flight took off, we made it to Ishigaki Island, and despite the slightly rough waves, they went ahead with the tour while prioritizing safety! They searched for spots with calmer waves, and I was truly impressed—I thought, “They’re real pros!” The guides were so kind and gave detailed explanations. They shared lots of fun facts both during the trip and the activity itself—it was a truly enjoyable time! I was moved by all the coral and fish while snorkeling (T ^ T). We even saw a sea turtle—it was like a natural aquarium!! They kept a watchful eye on my 5-year-old daughter the whole time, so I was able to enjoy the experience with complete peace of mind. The morning after the tour, the very first thing my daughter said when she woke up was, “Can we ride the guy’s boat again today and swim with the lady?”…! We’d already booked another activity, and when I told her, she looked downcast and said, “I wanted to swim with the lady again and see the fish…” She keeps telling me over and over, “You have to take me back to see the guy and the lady again!” (lol) Thank you so much for making her first snorkeling experience such a wonderful memory! We’ll definitely book with you again the next time we visit Ishigaki Island!
