Experience the wilderness of the jungle on Ishigaki Island!
Ishigaki Island, a tropical beach resort, has become easier to visit with direct flights now available from Haneda Airport (3 hours) and Kansai Airport (2.5 hours).
Kabira Bay, which was awarded three stars in the Michelin Guide, the Fukidou and Miyara Rivers with their mangroves, the Hirakubozaki and Tamatorizaki Observatory, and the powder sand beaches and crystal clear waters are just a few of the many attractions of Ishigaki Island.
Among them, tours that trek through the jungles and mountains of Ishigaki Island are becoming increasingly popular among women travelers and families.
Visitors can take a canoe ride or explore the mangrove forests that grow in the rivers that flow through the island and the wild virgin forests that have been left untouched.
The experience of trekking in the clear air and observing plants and creatures unique to the subtropical zone is unlike any other activity, and is full of excitement and discoveries that cannot be experienced in the city.

Experience the great nature of Ishigaki Island! Sunrise viewing and jungle exploration
For those who want to spend a little special time as a memory of their visit to Ishigaki Island, we recommend a tour that includes sunrise viewing and jungle exploration.
We will go out before dawn to a spot with a beautiful view of the sunrise and watch the sunrise in the fresh morning air, then trek into the jungle where the creatures begin to wake up.
The jungle in the quiet of the morning, when no one is around, is a wild and healing place!
It can be fully enjoyed in about two hours from around 6:00 a.m., so even after making the most of the morning, there is still plenty of time to enjoy sightseeing.
Get up a little earlier than usual and retreat in the wilderness of Ishigaki Island!

Enjoy the spectacular view from the top of Nosoko-dake (野底岳, dialect name = Nuskumapei)!
Trekking to see flora and fauna, springs, and waterfalls is fine, but if there is a spot with a spectacular view, I would like to go there.
For those who are interested, we recommend Nosodake (Ma Pei), which is easily visited by local residents!
Nosodate trekking tours are easy to join, taking only about two hours to reach the summit and descend after admiring the spectacular view.
This mountain, which appears in the legend of Ishigaki Island, is recently said to be a power spot for love fulfillment.
The summit, reached by wading through tropical plants, offers a spectacular 360-degree view!
It is also a photogenic place where you will want to take many pictures and post them on social networking sites.
This is a plan I would love to add to my women's travel schedule♪

Fuki-tsu River Cruise & Trekking to see the waterfalls
The Fuki-tsuki-gawa River is located in the northern part of Ishigaki Island.

Mangrove canoeing and jungle hiking
In some cases, climbing a mountain may be a bit difficult, such as if you are not very confident in your physical strength or if you have small children.
In such cases, a guided canoeing tour through the mangrove forests of the Miyara River, designated as a national natural monument, is recommended.
The Miyara River is a friendly river where beginners and small children can safely participate.
Experienced guides will carefully teach you how to paddle a canoe and share their knowledge of plant life.
Depending on the tour content, you may be able to enjoy a two-hour tour of mangroves with unique roots or a walk on the mudflats where you can encounter rare creatures, so you can enjoy the subtropical jungle without any difficulty.
