Experience Diving

Colorful corals and tropical fish can be seen in the sea around "Ishinishi Jagako," which is called the largest coral reef area in Japan.

In the ocean of Ishigaki Island, you can see clownfish, made famous by Finding Nemo, so be sure to swim with them surrounded by cute fish. The experience diving is at a depth of 3 to 4 meters.

Taketomi Island

Traditional Okinawan townscapeis preserved on the island is a beauty unlike any other.

Since you will have free time, you can take a buffalo cart around the villages with red-tiled old houses and Ryukyu limestone stone walls, or rent a bicycle and go freely to Hoshisuna Beach, Kondoi Beach, West Pier, and other places.

You will receive a ferry ticket to Ishigaki so you can return to Ishigaki Island at your favorite time.

Only the boat ticket between Ishigaki Island and Taketomi Island and lunch are included in the course fee. If you wish to take a buffalo cart sightseeing tour and rent a bicycle, please apply for it on your own at the site and settle the bill there.

I was right to choose this plan for my trip to Ishigaki Island! It was my first time diving and I was a little nervous at first, but the kindness and expertise of the instructor made me feel at ease. The beautiful scenery under the sea is definitely not to be missed. The scenery of Taketomi Island is also fascinating, and I enjoyed the buffalo cart ride around the island. The Ryukyu limestone stone walls were especially historical and worth seeing. Exploring by bicycle was fun, and walking on the star sand beach was very relaxing. My husband and I were on a trip together and tried diving for the first time since we were over 50 years old. I am a regular swimmer at the pool, so I was confident in my swimming ability, but I was a little nervous about diving with a tank on my back. The dive guide was very attentive from the very beginning, and by the time we dived, my nerves had eased and I was looking forward to the experience. When we actually dove in, I was amazed at how beautiful the ocean was and how many fish there were. I never thought I would be able to see tropical fish so close! The dive lasted about 30 minutes net. The time passed so quickly. It was also very nice that my husband and I could enjoy sightseeing in Taketomi Island in the afternoon. While eating dinner that night, I wondered if I could get a diving license at my age. I was totally addicted to diving. Thank you very much for your careful guidance.
